World Trade Center • Assemblage of Found Objects
I finished this assemblage a few weeks after 9/11. In the center is a photograph I took of the towers from the Brooklyn Bridge in 1996. In the foreground are found objects from ground zero. A coffee cup. Caution tape. A cloisonné pin of the American flag. And two plastic towers that contain actual dust from the collapse.
